My background

I’ve practiced law for over 20 years, working in large and small law firms in Canada and the United States.  In the last 15 years, my area of practice has been immigration law.

I prefer to work closely with clients and thoroughly understand their situation and objectives. I’ve been lucky enough to have had enduring client relationships that in some cases span decades.

Immigration

Immigration is a great area of the law to practice in. You’re helping people get a foothold in Canada and that is often a really positive step for them. I really aim to take the anxiety out of the immigration process, which otherwise can be daunting and maze-like. Over a decade of experience with the process and with immigration clients of all kinds allows me to provide a smooth journey from the beginning idea of what the client wants to accomplish, to getting them landed in Canada, studying at a Canadian university, united with a Canadian family member or working in Canada.
